So after being sick for two plus weeks Christmas was amazing. We all got what we wanted, etc, but honestly it was great because it was quiet for once and I got to spend it with my family. The last few weeks have been kind of terrible and I am so grateful for everyone. I mean come on, who has a husband willing to stay up all night just so that he can be there and awake every 45 minutes when you wake up sick and in incredible pain to help you get back to sleep. Yeah, every 45 minutes, and that was when I was able to sleep. He heated the heating pad and brought me liquids and medicine and rubbed my back. My husband is the best Christmas gift I could have ever asked for.

It was also really nice to be able to give my mom and my brother a "Christmas morning" as well. We went down there after everyone went to sleep and arranged a ton of gifts under the tree, and then after opening gifts at home we went down there and spent the day cooking and talking and having a good time together. All in all, I'd say that it was a good Christmas. The only person missing was Pop.

Also, some weight loss totals for you guys: as of this morning I have lost 54.2 pounds. :) Getting there.

Holiday Love Meme!

Today has mostly been spent squeeing over Birth by Sleep stuff.

I hope we get a US/EU release date soon.

I also hope it's no later than summer, because I don't know if I could wait that long.

I really really need a job. If I don't get a job soon, I might actually resort to trying to be a writer, and considering the fact that my inspiration re: writing is at zero (every time I say that, I hear Yuki Eiri in my head going, "zero talent!" only in Japanese, and I have no idea what he even says, but ANYWAY yes. SOMETHING SOMETHING ZERO DA?)

But yeah, oh god, I am desperate for a job right now. Last time I was this long unemployed was before I got the job in the Topic, so I'm hoping for the same kind of miracle this time around.
